Motherhood is such an important time in a woman's life. Whether this is your very first pregnancy or your fourth, we're here for your FIRST Trimester (0-14 weeks) ! Our prenatal services consist of visits with a doctor or another certified provider, ultrasounds, and labs tests to make sure mom and baby are taken care of through their journey.
Doctor visits are very important during pregnancy. These appointments give you and your doctor a chance to talk about any questions or concerns you may have. They also help monitor the health and wellbeing of you and baby. The amount of visits may vary depending on the pregnancy. A woman experiencing a normal, healthy pregnancy will have about 14 to 15 visits, while a woman with a complicated pregnancy might have 16 or more visits depending on the complications. It is important that you attend all of your doctor visits to make sure you and baby are safe and healthy!
Ultrasound scans are a type of medical imaging that uses high-frequency sound waves to see inside of your body. Ultrasounds are a safe way to see how your baby is growing and developing in FIRST Trimester (0-14 weeks). For more information on ultrasounds, click here!
Blood Tests
Blood tests are help us further check how you and baby are doing during your FIRST Trimester (0-14 weeks) pregnancy . During your first visit, you will do a full panel of labs that will check all of your blood levels. This panel of labs is called a Prenatal Profile and it helps your doctor understand what kind of risks your pregnancy may carry. There are other tests done at certain points in the pregnancy to check for genetic disorders, gestational diabetes, etc. More information on lab testing can be found here.
